Trombonist, singer, bandleader and former member of Ray Charles & Hector Lavoe’s Orchestras, Gerard Carelli has been fronting his own groups for more than 3 decades. They’ve entertained at galas for Caramoor, Katonah & Neuberger Museums, Lincoln Center’s Film Society and Midsummer Night Swing and at every private club and hotel in the city. 

Gerard is joyfully refocused on playing jazz again, the reason he got into the business in the first place.  Expect to hear lyrical melodies from the American Songbook and a sweet and swinging trombone as recorded on his two CD’s “Beautiful Dancer” and “Lucky to Be Me”. Always entertaining, funny and personal with a smooth vocal tone and a warm trombone.
