Take 70s rock and roll, a little soul, and few handfuls of the great female singers of our time and you’ve got yourself Willin’–A satisfying rock group playing hours of music you already like.
Not quite the Partridge Family, Robin and Jon Reitzes grew up playing music together – Jon on the Guitar and Robin singing. But as far a musical groups, they went their separate ways. Jon stayed in Brooklyn playing music all over NYC and Robin moved up to Katonah and became a local celebrity with her band, Blonde Ambition. But when Jon moved to Westchester just a few years ago, they took it as opportunity to create something new. Robin recruited her longtime friend and musical consiglieri Mitch Kalmus and something magical happened–The duo quickly became a trio with effortless harmony, rocking riffs, and vocal runs for days. Add local multi-instrumentalist Kenny Kaufman and Jamie Baker on Drums and you’ve got a band that can guide you through a fabulous evening of music.
Quickly finding an audience at local venues and recently playing for thousands at the Bedford Music Festival, Willin’ has taken their place among Westchester and Connecticut’s hottest local acts.
