Anne-Marie Buckland and Jonathan Trost are joining forces to give perspective on online dating. As long-time friends who entered the digital age of dating post divorce, they have helped each other through the highs and lows of cyber courtship. Together they will present both the hilarious and the hideous, drawing on their individual experiences. Come and hear information, anecdotes, and gain psychological information on attachment, attraction, and how to attempt online dating while keeping a sense of humor, staying strong, safe, and healthy.

Anne-Marie believes moving out of addictive patterns into freedom is the best gift you can give yourself and everyone in your life. As a Recovery Coach, Anne-Marie supports individuals toward becoming their own best resource for healing maladaptive strategies. She is a proponent of Healing Centered Engagement in trauma work, and Person-Centered therapy with a Strengths-Based focus. She is also a motivational speaker who presents on surviving narcissistic abuse and encouraging independence from toxic relationships. Anne-Marie holds a B.A. degree from Middlebury College with a studio art major and a M.S. degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Anne-Marie’s individualized approach utilizes creativity, nature, and mindfulness practices with attention to nutrition, movement, and client shaped self-care routines.
About Jonathan Trost
Jonathan has been licensed as a marriage and family therapist in California for 32 years, and has worked for non-profits, county government, medical groups, and in private practice. He has extensive experience working with couples and relationships, mood disorders, eating disorders, panic attacks, anger management, and training of primary care physicians on behavioral health concerns. Jonathan is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and remains active in the NUHW, which negotiates contracts with a variety of health care providers. He has known his co-presenter, Anne Marie Buckland for 15 years and enjoys collaborating with her. Jonathan was voted “teacher of the year” in Kaiser Permanente’s Family Medicine Residency Program, his favorite recognition.
