Please join LifeChangers esteemed guest Mark Rozzo -a celebrated writer, reporter and musician – in conversation at Bedford Playhouse.

Mark began his career at The New Yorker, and was a National Arts Journalism fellow at Columbia University. He is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair (where he was previously deputy editor) and was a columnist at The Los Angeles Times Book Review. His reporting, essays, and reviews —on art, design, architecture, literary culture, popular music, and food—have appeared in The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Oxford American, The Washington Post, Esquire, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Galerie, Town & Country, BookForum, and Air Mail, among other publications.

He has released albums with various bands and has created music for TV and films (including Sidney Lumet’s Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) and soundtracks for Audible.com. He teaches nonfiction writing at Columbia and lives in New York City with his family. His recent best selling book, Everybody Thought We Were Crazy (Ecco Press, 2022) chronicles life In L.A during the sixties, as seen through the lens of Dennis Hopper and Brooke Hayward and their emblematic love story which ropes in the coolest of cool cats during a cultural blitz no one will forget.
