From popping corn and tearing tickets to event planning and development, we’re working hard seven days a week to bring you the fantastic food, drink, programming and community hub that you love.
Wondering who we are and what makes us tick?
We’re part of the Bedford Playhouse Team…. and it’s nice to meet you!
NICOLE GARDNER, Executive Director. Nicole oversees the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. With twenty years of experience in arts administration, with a focus on film, performing arts, arts education, and fundraising, "this ain't her first time at the rodeo." Nicole's favorite film is "My Neighbor Totoro".
DAN FRIEDMAN, Director of Development. Dan Friedman is a lifelong film fanatic who takes time off from the movies to oversee development for the Playhouse. Dan has worked with and for non-profit arts organizations of all sizes and disciplines for over 15 years and volunteers with local community theaters whenever his schedule permits. Choosing his favorite movie is similar to choosing his favorite child -- but at the top are "Sunset Boulevard", "The Man Who Would Be King", and "Duck Soup".
LINDSAY CAIN HEARON, Director of Marketing & Communications. Lindsay brings almost 20 years of entrepreneurial marketing, management and event planning experience to the Comm team at the Playhouse. When she isn’t strategizing PR campaigns, creative programming or media surprises – she enjoys chopping, dicing and sautéing anything in the kitchen and spending time with her husband and two children. Her favorite movie is a tie between "American Beauty" and "MIdnight Run".
BIJHAN CLARK, Director of Theater Operations. Bijhan is proud to be the Director of Operations here at Bedford Playhouse and has enjoyed almost a decade of management roles at other distinguished local theaters including The Ridgefield Playhouse and The Prospector Theater. Besides watching and discussing movies, some of his hobbies involve collecting retro videogames, fly-fishing and homebrewing beer. His favorite movie is "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi".
JULIETTE KOCH, Program & Event Coordinator. Juliette is a Capricorn, like’s pina coladas and getting caught in the rain! She loves being the Playhouse’s “boots on the ground” for all types of events and has 30 years experience in the field. There’s nothing she enjoys more than planning a special event for an enthusiastic client… “It's all in the details!” Her favorite films are "Dirty Dancing" and "Mamma Mia".
Keelin Maniscalco brings 30+ years of sophisticated experience to the Playhouse Cafe. A born and raised Bedford-ite, Keelin often says "hospitality and food are just in my blood!” In addition to a love of cooking delicious food, Keelin loves to redo furniture, spend time in her garden and with her dogs. She often surprises the office staff with experimental tasting dishes or an amuse-bouche, much to their delight! Her favorite movie is "The Sting".
RENEE WALLACE, Floor Manager & Marketing Assistant.
SEAN QUINN, Asst. Theater Manager
