CinemaSafe Health & Safety Guidelines at Bedford Playhouse
The National Association of Theatre Owners has enacted the recommendations of health experts to address the specific environment of movie theaters. We want to make sure all guests and staff are able to have a safe movie-going experience. The following are procedures we have put in place to ensure that you can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Our employees must wear a face covering or mask at all times. Patrons must wear a face covering at all times, except when enjoying food or beverages in their seats. Those who are unwilling to wear a face covering will be denied entry.
Appropriate physical distancing must be maintained at all times between patrons, except members of the same household or those that attend together.
All of our theaters are operating at a 25% capacity to ensure proper social distancing protocols. Appropriate physical distancing will be maintained at all times between patrons, except members of the same household or those that attend together.
All HVAC systems have been checked and upgraded for increased ventilation throughout the facility. Our air filtration system has been upgraded to include MERV-13 filters.
Employees are trained on hand-hygiene practices, and are required to wash hands frequently at easily-accessible hand-washing facilities.
Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol (EPA approved ethanol or isopropyl) is offered in easily accessible public areas.
Auditoriums are carefully disinfected between movie screenings. High-touch surfaces throughout the facility are wiped down periodically with EPA-registered disinfectant.
Employee Health Training
All employees are trained on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 as well as local theater policies and procedures.
Bedford Playhouse is minimizing cash transactions and encourages credit cards or contactless payments whenever possible. All communal food and condiments that requires shared serving utensils or equipment are eliminated during this time.
Tickets sales are available online or via phone to reduce the need to stand in line for tickets. Alternatives to paper tickets must be used whenever possible.
Not Feeling Well?
If you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms that could be related to COVID-19, please stay home and we welcome you to join us again in the future. Bedford Playhouse will offer a refund for you to see a film at a later time when you are healthy.
