With three state-of-the-art theaters, a cafe, and our designer Tasting Room, the new Playhouse in bucolic Bedford Village is an exciting venue for all sorts of events, from private screenings and presentations to birthdays and bar/bat mitzvahs. Private rentals includes exclusive use of the theater for 2.5 hours, microphones, A/V, general lighting setup, as well as additional technical and A/V services available upon request. Assisted listening and CC equipment are also available upon request.

The Main Theater
Seat capacity: 160 seats. Price: $2,500; Non-profit and Off-Peak* Rate: $2,000.
A flex-use theater and event space with removable furniture. Price: $800; Non-profit and Off-Peak* Rate: $500.
Seat capacity: 40 seats. Price: $1,000; Non-profit and Off-Peak* Rate: $700.
A 50% is Deposit due one week before rental or party date. One adult chaperone is required for every 10 people under age 18 for all rentals and parties. Availability is not guaranteed due to ongoing studio contracts and obligations. Any rentals booked under a weeks notice are subject to a $200 late booking fee.
The Tasting & Green Room
The luxurious NYC&G VIP Tasting & Green Room can be reserved for your special event, private soiree, meetings and more. Priced by the hour, the room is available for $175/hr with a two-hr minimum. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages can be arranged through our cafe separately.
The Tasting Room Experience: Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres for 90 minutes with your guests – then slide next door into our premium recliner seats for an evening movie screening, complete with fresh popped popcorn. ($695, includes 8 guests; for add’l guests please inquire)
Birthday Party (Public)
Reserved seats for a public, regularly scheduled film screening in Main Theater; includes sm. popcorn, drink and ticket. (25 max).
Birthday Party (Private)
Reserved theater at the standard rental rate; includes sm. popcorn, drink and ticket plus 45-minute use of “celebration zone” in Cafe banquette area. [BYO cake, drinks and paper goods temporarily permitted as of November 2018 *subject to change]
Cafe & Small Theaters Rental
Enjoy the entire first floor of the Playhouse for your event including The Cafe, The Worby and The Clive. $9000 (peak rate: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 4pm). Includes Playhouse staff; does not include food or drink.
Full facility rental use including The Worby, The CLive, The Tasting Room, The Main Theater & The Cafe. $30,000 (peak rate: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 4pm). Includes Playhouse staff; does not include food or drink.
