Released in 1993 and starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, and Christopher Reeve, The Remains of the Day concerns the evolving relationship between a repressed, exacting butler and a younger housekeeper in a British manor house. Meanwhile, the master of the house seems to be siding with the fascist cause as his country edges towards war with Germany. This superb drama was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Will Reeve is a media personality and philanthropist. He is a multi-platform commentator for ESPN and serves on the Board of Directors for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, for which he has the role of multigenerational ambassador and community advocate.

A former Bedford resident and Rippowam Cisqua alumnus, Will speaks nationwide on behalf of his family and the Reeve Foundation. The Foundation works to harness support and mobilize community involvement around critical advances in the field of spinal cord research, and to honor the legacy of his late parents, Christopher and Dana Reeve.
