The Bedford Playhouse theaters and event spaces are available to rent for a private event – parties, meetings, corporate events, classes and other programs.

(Based on availability – Rentals booked with less than 2 weeks notice may be subject to a rush fee)

 

Worby

Peak Price (Fri.-Sun.) : $800

Off-Peak Price/Non-Profit: $600

Includes small popcorn, drink, and movie ticket for up to 12 children.

$10 per additional child up to 17 maximum (no exceptions).

1 adult required supervision for every 5 children.

Theater capacity:  14-20

Concessions packages are available.

 

Clive

Peak Price (Fri.-Sun.) : $1,000

Off-Peak Price/Non-Profit: $800

Includes small popcorn, drink, and movie ticket for up to 20 children

$10 per additional child up to 25 maximum (no exceptions)

1 adult required supervision for every 5 children.

Theater capacity: 40

Concessions packages are available.

 

Main 

Peak Price (Fri.-Sun.): $2,500

Off Peak / Non-profit: $2,000

Includes small popcorn, drink, and ticket for each participant.

1 adult required supervision for every 5 children.

Theater Capacity:  160

Concessions packages are available.

Cake in Café (add on to Worby or Clive rental)

Peak Price (Fri.-Sun.) : $250

Off-Peak: $150

Celebrate your special occasion with cake in the Café after your Private Screening! We’ll have a special area of the Café ready for your group. Feel free to bring your own cake, or we can make arrangements with a local pastry shop for an additional fee. Includes staff.

 

VIP Tasting & Green Room Experience

You and nine (9) friends can enjoy 90-minutes of exclusive use of the luxurious NYC&G Tasting & Green Room, complete with light hors d’oeuvres and wine, followed by popcorn and the evening’s movie in the Main Theater.

Café and Small Theaters or Full Playhouse Buy Out

Concessions

• Theater rentals include a free small popcorn & small fountain drink for each individual. Additional concessions may be pre-ordered when you reserve your private rental. 
• For everyone’s safety, patrons are asked to take their concessions trash with them when leaving a screening and to dispose of it in the trash cans provided.
• No outside food or beverage is permitted.

 

Cafe/Bar

• Renter may choose to add services from our cafe and bar. 
• All food ordered from the cafe must be pre-ordered and finalized 24 hours prior to the rental. Final payment can be made in advance or at the end of the rental. 
• The food and beverage can be consumed before, during, or after the screening. 
• No outside food or beverages allowed. Exceptions are made in extenuating circumstances with a $150 upcharge.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Bedford Playhouse permits rental rescheduling, without penalty, up until 72 hours prior to the scheduled event. Availability of particular showtimes or dates for rescheduled rentals cannot be guaranteed. Full details for rescheduling and cancellation rules are outlined in rental contract.
