Join us for a family program featuring a read-aloud of A Rescue Feast, followed by hands-on activities that introduce children to food recovery and composting. Through storytelling and guided exploration, participants will consider how food can be used thoughtfully rather than wasted. After the reading, children will plant green onion roots to take home, sort foods to determine what can be reused or composted, and sample applesauce to connect these ideas to everyday experience. Presented in partnership with Second Chance Foods, a Hudson Valley nonprofit that rescues surplus food and transforms it into nutritious meals for those in need. A portion of the proceeds from this program will directly support the work of Second Chance Foods. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Cross Purpose is a four-piece rock and blues band formed in 2005, blending original music with styles ranging from straight-ahead rock and high-energy ballads to classic 12-bar blues. Known for strong vocals, standout lead guitar, and a solid rhythmic foundation, the band has released multiple albums of original material—including their latest, More To Do (2023). Featuring Bob Stanhope (vocals/rhythm guitar), Roy Ellingsen (vocals/lead guitar), Doug Bolin (vocals/bass), and Jeremy Brown (drums).

Christine Chanel is a Westchester-based indie-soul artist known for her powerful yet intimate vocals and emotionally rich songwriting. Blending soul and indie influences, her music is rooted in authenticity—creating performances that feel personal, resonant, and memorable. A longtime presence in the New York tri-state music scene, Christine has performed at the Pleasantville Music Festival, Sleepy Hollow Music Festival, and venues including The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Tarrytown Music Hall, and more.

Fingerpicking guitarist David Wolff, found his passion for music after hearing Hot Tuna, eventually teaching alongside Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jorma Kaukonen at Fur Peace Ranch. Wolff has played with legends like Oteil Burbridge (The Allman Brothers, Dead & Co.) and David Bromberg. Don't miss this intimate performance! Show begins at 6:30pm. Louis Cato’s journey to becoming bandleader of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert began at age two on the drums, evolving through gospel roots in North Carolina to Berklee College of Music and, ultimately, New York City. Now a Grammy-nominated, internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, and songwriter, Cato has collaborated with artists like Bobby McFerrin, James Taylor, Q-Tip, Jon Batiste, and St. Vincent. His ongoing Treehouse Project delivers a new song every two weeks, with fans voting on favorites for annual album releases—now approaching 100 original songs in its fourth year.
