Oct. 15th, 2024 – Bedford Playhouse recently held a powerful event featuring a screening of Undivide Us, a documentary that examines America’s deepening political and social divisions. The film highlighted how politicians, news media, and social media have fueled toxic polarization, leaving many Americans questioning whether they can trust their fellow citizens. Undivide Us aimed to be part of the solution by fostering understanding and bridging divides in a polarized nation.
Following the screening, a panel discussion was moderated by Naomi Schaefer Riley, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and the Independent Women’s Forum. Riley, an expert on issues such as child welfare, parenting, and culture, guided the conversation on the impact of polarization and the steps needed to move toward healing and unity.
