Wire Transfers
The Bedford Playhouse accepts gifts made through electronic funds transfer. Please contact Jenny Pace at or (914) 221-6252, to receive transfer instructions and to notify us of the amount and designation of your gift.
Stock Gifts
Donating appreciated securities held for more than one year entitles you to a charitable income-tax deduction for the full market value of the shares on the date of your gift. Donors of appreciated securities avoid capital gains taxes and may use their income-tax deduction up to 30% of adjusted gross income with a five-year carryover. Consult your financial adviser to determine whether donating a stock gift is the right giving option for you.

Gifts From Your IRA
If you are 73 or older, you are eligible to make tax-free contributions to the Bedford Playhouse from your IRA or other qualified retirement plan. One of the key benefits is that the donation counts towards your Required Minimum Distribution or RMD (the IRS-determined minimum amount you must withdraw from your account each year).
