Conscious Contact, Q&A, and book signing (preview copies of the book will be available for purchase). Bill W. Conscious Contact is the awardwinning documentary that has taken the global film festival circuit by storm in recent months garnering multiple awards and widespread acclaim. It provides a new and intimate view of Bill Wilson, the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous who Time called one of the great healers of the 20th century.  The documentary examines Bill W. as an individual spiritual seeker rather than the parent of a global movement.  It reveals him to have been not only the pragmatist who helped launch a recovery program that has saved and continues to save millions of lives, but also an open-minded seeker deeply devoted to his own spiritual growth right up until the last days of his life.

The film has moved audiences with its rare depth and honesty as it explores the spiritual interests of Bill W. – the longtime Bedford, NY resident. The A.A. model has now been borrowed by hundreds of other organizations for challenges such as narcotics, gambling, chronic pain, and screen addiction. The film invites viewers beyond history to glimpse a spiritual journey that reshaped modern recovery and more.

Through rare archival material from the archive of The Stepping Stones Foundation, Katonah, NY, and personal interviews, the documentary paints an intimate portrait of Bill Wilson’s inner world and openness to spiritual growth.

The morning program is designed to be both reflective and immersive. It begins with an introduction that sets the historical and spiritual context of the film, followed by a silent meditation to help audiences settle into presence before the film screening. Together, these elements create a space that mirrors the themes of the film itself.

Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a live Q&A, offering an opportunity for dialogue, insight, and shared reflection. In addition, the morning will feature a preview of the forthcoming “film in a book” edition of Bill W. Conscious Contact, sharing the film’s themes through text and imagery. Books will be available for purchase, and the producers will be present for book signing and conversation after the screening. Whether you come for the film, the meditation, or the chance to engage more deeply with this remarkable story, this event promises a morning of inspiration, connection, and conscious contact…a great way to start the day.
