Moderated by Sarah Douglis, this special Earth Day event will uplift and highlight the youth of our community who are taking action on climate change. Through the lens of Bedford 2030’s Greenlight Award program, local high school students will share their climate action projects and talk about the future of the planet they are inheriting. The format for the event will be a short video introducing the Greenlight students and their projects followed by a student panel discussion with audience Q&A.
Bedford 2030’s Greenlight Award challenges students to brainstorm, plan, and execute advocacy or innovation ideas to catalyze behavior change and promote sustainability in their community.
Sarah Douglis is VP Board of Directors, Bedford2030 and is Chair of the Development Committee and also serves on the Greenlight Awards Committee. In addition, she received the honor from Bedford Magazine as one of the 2019 “ Bedford 25” celebrating residents who are dedicated, creative and influential in the community.
