First, Sommelier Sean Sperazza will present a flight of 3-5 wines for tasting inspired by classic Somm testing.

Then, a screening of the documentary Somm, winner of the best documentary feature at the 2013 San Luis Obispo Film Festival.

Sean began his wine education at 18 by helping out at his family’s store, Siemers Wine & Spirits. He spent the next several years learning everything he could about wine, but it wasn’t until he tasted an Amarone at 21 that he understood the magic. After a brief stint at college and some other adventures, he decided to jump into the wine industry with both feet by becoming a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. He now works full time as an analyst for a wine importer, but you can still find him occasionally at Siemers, helping out his mom, Jen.
