The story of Christopher Reeve is an astonishing rise from unknown actor to iconic movie star, and his definitive portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman set the benchmark for the superhero cinematic universes that dominate cinema today. Reeve portrayed the Man of Steel in four Superman films and played dozens of other roles that displayed his talent and range as an actor, before being injured in a near-fatal horse-riding accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

After becoming a quadriplegic, he became a charismatic leader and activist in the quest to find a cure for spinal cord injuries, as well as a passionate advocate for disability rights and care – all while continuing his career in cinema in front of and behind the camera and dedicating himself to his beloved family.

Will Reeve is a New York-based correspondent for ABC News, reporting for all ABC platforms and shows, including Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline, ABC News Live and ABC News Radio.  At ABC News, Reeve has covered the Covid-19 pandemic, the Afghan refugee crisis, the death of Queen Elizabeth II, multiple natural disasters, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the World Series, the College Football Playoff National Championship, the NCAA Final Four, and the World Cup, and has reported on a variety of stories and topics from 42 states, ten countries, and counting.  Reeve’s work as part of a group of ABC News journalists covering a series of wildfires in California in 2019 earned him his first News EMMY nomination, for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a Newscast. In 2022, Reeve was nominated for Outstanding Live News Special for his work co-anchoring the ABC News Live special Mission to Mars: Live.  Prior to joining ABC News in 2018, Reeve was a correspondent for ESPN, where he contributed to all ESPN platforms and shows, including SportsCenter, College Gameday, and E:60.
