In 1990, Dr. Jack Kevorkian astonished the world as he took the end of life debate head-on with his “Mercy Machine” and performed his first assisted suicide. Starring Oscar and Emmy winner Al Pacino, You Don’t Know Jack is the story of one man’s obsession with challenging the rules by which we live and die – and his stubborn, heartfelt insistence on breaking the law to do so. Also starring Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, Danny Huston, Emmy winner Brenda Vaccaro and Emmy winner John Goodman.

Adam Mazer is the Emmy Award winning screenwriter of the HBO Film, You Don’t Know Jack starring Al Pacino as assisted-suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian. The movie received 15 Emmy nominations, with Al Pacino winning the Best Actor Emmy as well as a Golden Globe.

Adam’s other movie credits include the critically acclaimed true life spy drama, “Breach” (Universal Pictures), about FBI agent-turned-spy Robert Hanssen, which starred Chris Cooper, Laura Linney, and Ryan Phillippe. He also wrote the based-on-real-events bank heist movie, Empire State, starring Dwayne Johnson and Liam Hemsworth; and wrote and produced the Lifetime movie Escaping the NXIVM Cult  about the takedown of the sex-slave cult NXIVM organization.

Adam is currently writing the first-ever authorized biopic feature on the life of legendary “Star Trek” creator, Gene Roddenberry; and has a spy TV series, “Ringleader”, with MGM and Amazon.
