Run Time: 60 min.

The last four decades have been the hottest in recorded history. Bob Reiss first wrote of the dangers of climate change 25 years ago in the just re-released The Coming Storm: Extreme Weather and Our Terrifying Future, a prescient book called “the most readable and intelligent summary of global warming science and politics I have read,” by Bill McKibben. Bob followed this up with The Eskimo and The Oil Man about the opening of the Arctic as it warms.

Bob will share his stories and thoughts and take questions.

Bob Reiss has appeared on Morning Joe, NBC Nightly, Al Jazeera and other national shows speaking about changing climate, its effect on all Americans, and our Arctic future. He’s advised 60 Minutes on Arctic geopolitics (Russia vs US) and moderated two Academies of Sciences meetings dealing with health issues in the far north as it warms.
