Run Time: 90 min.
The Women’s Wolfpack is presenting a unique opportunity to hear two visionary climate communicators about our world.
Dr. Katharine Wilkinson’s latest book Climate Wayfinding: Healing Ourselves and the Planet We Call Home will be published on May 5th. When maps come up short and the path ahead is uncertain, how do we find our way? In her new book Climate Wayfinding, Dr. Katharine Wilkinson offers a compassionate and empowering guide for navigating through ache to action, doubt to possibility. Whether we’re steeped in climate or newly curious, we can look inward with care, outward with curiosity, and forward with courage to shape our unique contributions.
Dr. Kate Marvel’s book, Human Nature: Nine Ways to Feel About Our Changing Planet explores climate change through nine emotions (wonder, anger, guilt, fear, grief, surprise, pride, hope, and love) to connect the science with human experience, blending scientific facts with personal reflections, history, and mythology. Published in June 2025, the book uses these emotions as a framework to discuss the science, history, and future of our planet, making complex climate issues more accessible and visceral.
Join both of these renowned climate communicators and authors for a presentation, conversation together and an opportunity to connect with a kindred community. Books will be on sale, and the authors available for signing them, in the Lobby and reception area after the event.
