Brooklyn, NY-based singer-songwriter Dan Strauss has been a touring musician for the past twenty-five years and has just released his 7th album, The Haze Of Winter Flowers. Dan has won over audiences with his melodic storytelling, rich vocals and intricate arrangements. His writing evokes touches of his songwriting heroes such as Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, John Lennon and Jeff Tweedy.
Dan’s songs shift moods and styles, from alt-country to indie folk. He has appeared on NPR, WFUV, WDST-Radio Woodstock, and WBKM in Vermont and has shared the stage with artists such as Jenifer Jackson, Julian Verlard, Alex Radus, Pascal Lajoye, Franklin Rankin and many others.
