A foundation of folk, rock, indie and classical infuses Laurel’s musicianship. She’s studied with The Juilliard School, Tanglewood Institute, Interlochen Cetner for the Arts & Berklee College of Music. Her music is intricate, evocative, and emotional, drawing comparisons to Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelberg and Joy Williams.

Recent performances include Jazz on Main (NY); The Ridgefield Playhouse (CT); Carnegie Hall (NY); Hartford Convention Center (CT); Washington (DC) Hilton; Gaylord National Resort (MD); and Boston Harbor Visitor’s Center (MA). Many of Laurel’s original pieces uniquely tie in aspects of the chess world where she’s a noted influencer. She was especially honored to perform “The National Anthem” and compete at the US Chess Open. Come out and hear her unique homages and her “I Love NY” tune, “Albany”!

“Aronian’s talents as a performer and composer and writer will earn her even more notoriety in the years to come” – Jeff Edwards, Patch.com
