She has written for numerous publications including Ploughshares, NPR, Real Simple and the New York Times. Her novel, THE GOOD HOUSE was adapted as a motion picture starring Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline. Her new essay collection, I’VE TRIED BEING NICE (Simon Element/MarysueRucci) will be published on June 4, 2024. Ann and her husband Denis Leary live in Katonah.
Denis Leary is a five-time loser at the Emmy Awards and the Golden Globes. He has also never won an Oscar, a Tony or an argument with his wife.
