Bedford Playhouse is pleased to propose a Jewish Film Series to be presented on Sundays throughout April 2026, celebrating Jewish culture, history, and storytelling through the art of film. This curated series will bring together compelling cinema and meaningful conversation with our very own artists, reinforcing the Playhouse’s mission as a nonprofit community arts hub dedicated to cultural exploration and dialogue.

Each screening will be paired with a post-film Q&A conversation with Bedford’s filmmakers, actors, or special guests, offering audiences a deeper engagement with the stories presented on screen.

Film Lineup 

• Defiance screening followed by a Q&A with Alan Bell
• Crossing Delancey screening followed by a Q&A with actor Peter Reigert
• Enemies, A Love Story screening followed by a Q&A with actress Lena Olin
• Bad Shabbos screening to conclude the series with producer Adam Mitchell and actor John Bedford Lloyd

General Admission Ticket: $50 per ticket (Community Ticket)

Contributions at every level help underwrite film licensing, guest participation, production costs, and community engagement opportunities, ensuring that this multi-week series remains inclusive and accessible. $10,000 — Presenting Sponsor

• Recognition as Presenting Sponsor of the Jewish Film Series
• Prominent acknowledgment on all festival marketing materials, including website, email communications, and on-screen recognition
• Opportunity to offer brief welcoming remarks at one festival screening
• A total of twelve (12) tickets across any of the series screenings
• Recliner seating for all festival events

• Recognition as Festival Sponsor across marketing materials and on-screen acknowledgment
• A total of six (6) tickets across any of the series screenings
