Mar 22nd, 2026 – We were thrilled to welcome author Ariel Sullivan and special guest Jenna Bush Hager for an unforgettable evening in conversation celebrating Ariel’s latest novel, Beneath. Presented in partnership with Bedford Books, the event brought together a full house of readers eager to dive into this gripping dystopian world.
Guests received a copy of Beneath with their ticket and were treated to a dynamic discussion that explored the novel’s origins, its richly imagined pre-apocalyptic history, and the emotional depth behind its characters. Ariel shared insights into crafting a story set hundreds of years before the Illum’s rule, where humanity struggles to rebuild after a devastating war.
