Mar 26, 2026 – We were thrilled to welcome award-winning journalist and bestselling author David Pogue for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating the 50th anniversary of Apple.
In his new book, Apple: The First 50 Years, Pogue offered a definitive look at one of the most influential and scrutinized companies in modern history. From its near collapse in the late ’80s and early ’90s during the absence of Steve Jobs, to its rise as a global powerhouse approaching a $4 trillion valuation, Apple’s story proved to be one of innovation, resilience, and reinvention.
Drawing from interviews with more than 150 former and current Apple executives, designers, and engineers, Pogue brought audiences behind the scenes of the company’s most iconic moments. Throughout the evening, he shared fascinating origin stories of groundbreaking products like the Apple II, iMac, iPod, and iPhone, along with surprising lessons from Apple’s dramatic journey.
Known for his engaging storytelling and wit, Pogue added a playful twist with original Apple-themed song parodies performed live at the piano—much to the delight of the audience.
Books were available for purchase and signing following the event, giving guests a chance to continue the experience beyond the stage.
