Apr 25th, 2026 – This past weekend, we welcomed patrons for a lively evening of film and conversation with a special screening of Bullets Over Broadway, followed by an engaging Q&A with acclaimed actor Chazz Palminteri.

Directed by Woody Allen, the 1994 comedy brought roaring laughter to the theater as audiences revisited its sharp, fast-paced story where Broadway ambition collides with mob influence. Starring John Cusack as idealistic playwright David Shayne, the film follows his desperate attempt to stage his first production—no matter the cost. Along the way, viewers are treated to unforgettable performances from Jennifer Tilly as the hilariously untalented Olive and Dianne Wiest as a scene-stealing, perpetually tipsy actress.

The evening’s highlight came after the credits rolled, when Palminteri—who portrayed the unexpectedly insightful mob enforcer Cheech—took the stage for a candid and entertaining discussion. Sharing behind-the-scenes stories, reflections on working with Allen, and insights into the film’s enduring appeal, Palminteri offered audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process behind one of the decade’s most beloved comedies.

With a packed house and an enthusiastic response from attendees, the evening underscored the continued appetite for shared film experiences paired with live, in-person storytelling.
